How will the UK Bank Holidays impact my order and results?

This information applies to UK Spring and Platinum Jubilee Bank Holidays only (Thursday 2nd June and Friday 3rd June)

 

 


How to order

Due to potential delays over the UK June Bank Holidays it's essential to give us plenty of time to arrange your delivery and get your test kit to you for when you need it, so please ensure you order early. You can check delivery information here.

If you're purchasing a PCR test you'll need to consider:

  • The time it'll take to return your sample to us - Please make sure you check when and where you can drop off your sample and when your chosen drop off point has collections. Collection times may differ based on your location, you can check this information below:

PLEASE NOTE: Once our labs have received your sample, they'll need a further 24-36 hours to process your result.

  • The time it'll take to get your results - Results may be delayed if it's taken longer for our labs to receive your sample, you'll find more information on getting your results here.


 

 


Royal Mail Priority Postbox's

If you have a sample that needs returning to our lab, please continue to use the Royal Mail Priority Postbox's. Collections from Priority Postbox's vary by location and will be affected by the UK Spring Bank Holidays.

As Royal Mail are running a reduced service (Sunday collection times or no collection) over the Spring Bank Holiday period, there may not be a collection in your area on the following days:

  • Thursday 2nd June
  • Friday 3rd June

Samples posted on the following collection dates will be subject to delays:

  • Wednesday 1st June - Samples may not reach the lab until Saturday 4th June
  • Thursday 2nd June - Samples will reach the lab no earlier than Monday 6th June 
  • Friday 3rd June - Samples will reach the lab no earlier than Monday 6th June
     

Please note: Our lab will still require a further 24-36 hours to process your sample once it's been received. For more information on lab operating hours over the Bank Holiday, click here


IMPORTANT: Please check your chosen Priority Postbox for collection dates and times (especially if you're returning your sample over the June Bank Holidays) as each postbox has its own collection dates and times. It's your responsibility to check this and you can do so by using the link below and simply typing in your postcode:

Delivery of testing kits

Due to courier's limited working hours over the Spring Bank Holidays, there may be delays on deliveries. 

There'll be no deliveries made by our partners on the dates below:

  • Thursday 2nd June
  • Friday 3rd June 

For orders due to be received on these days, we'll aim to get these to you on Wednesday 1st June. As we don't dispatch at the weekend, normal delivery service will resume from Monday 6th June.





Getting your results

Our labs will still be working over the bank holidays however, please be aware that any samples returned to us during this time may be subject to delivery delays. Once our labs have received your sample they'll need up to 36 hours to process it, please bear this in mind when waiting for your test results.
