Our at-home Ovarian Reserve test can help you assess the health of your ovaries, which is important for fertility and identifying if you may be entering the menopause. Get your results in 2 to 4 days.
What is measured in this test?
- Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH)
What is Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH)
AMH is a glycoprotein produced by small follicles (unfertilised eggs) in the ovaries. AMH level increases significantly at puberty, reaching a peak at early adulthood and declining as women age and diminishing after menopause. The level of AMH is used as an indicator of the number of eggs still remaining in the ovaries (known as the ovarian reserve).
Knowing your AMH levels can provide information about your fertility status and can guide your doctor in further investigations and treatment.
AMH levels can also indicate the presence of menopause. Discussing your results with your doctor can help them assess you, and guide appropriate treatment.
