# What does the biological age tell you?

Your biological age represents the age of your cells - or your internal age - which may not always match your chronological age due to multiple influencing factors such as genetics and lifestyle. Measuring your biological age gives you a unique estimate of how your body is aging on the inside.

At Chronomics, we employ epigenetic testing coupled with the latest machine learning techniques to compute your biological age. It is important to note that unlike DNA, which is largely fixed, epigenetic factors are dynamic and can be influenced by environmental and lifestyle factors.
